Paypal is very silly ... they dont investigate well enough, they should have a specialist in online transactions that will deal with out matters like they should be dealt with not like we are shipping the customer a cow or something.

Same here. At some point, paypal will just reverse the transaction.

That's what they did for me. So, even if it was not intentional, the payment would have to be remade. So, I completely deleted the listings (they were just disabled at first).

I don’t think this situation was intentional from the submitter; nobody is stupid enough to pay directory listings with fraudulent funds.

I believe it! hope everything gets solved quickly, the poor guy will probably have to submit again, and will be refused because is now blacklisted.

Why does that ring a bell? I will go and check, because I believe I may have had advertising requests from the owner of Dirmania.

edit my bad it was a question regarding something else, not advertising, from that owner. I've PMed to Jeff anyways :)

He goes through the hassles and risk of phishing PayPal information, then wastes it on a directory? I could think of much more useful scams for those phished accounts.

The dumb guy is going to go to prison for 10 years and all he has to show for it is directory submissions, HAHA! What a friggen LOSER.

EDIT: nevermind to the above because he ended up not being a scammer :)

EDIT2: Move this bad boy to underground. You don't want his domains associated with the word "fruadulent".

He submitted to v7n, did a chargeback and got the the funds reversed. Then he submitted again, attempted to do a chargeback claiming that the transaction was unauthorized, but this time PayPal sided with us and didn't buy his "somebody broke into my paypal account" story.

Just to update this - I received the same email that agnivo007 received yesterday.

I promptly added the two listings to my directory.

Today I received another message from paypal that the submitter has opened a dispute stating that he has not received what he paid for....

I have had similar problems with the same submitter. It seems to be his tactic, but I dont understand why he even bothers. He has to know that his link gets deleted as soon as he complains.

It's pretty common tactic, I think. Do a run a paid submissions, then try to do charge backs.

    Yup.

This guy is on crack or what… when he does the chargeback you just give the money back and delete the link. What is he gaining with this? I don’t get it.
