Fraudulent affiliate programs?

    Hi,

I'm a newbie to affiliate marketing and something that's been bugging me since I started is, how do I know that an affiliate program is honest, ie accurately reporting and compensating me on sales generated through my sites? Are there programs that one should stay away from?

    Thanks,
    H

I've been sticking with Clickbank and Paydotcom only. I've never had a problem with them paying me the money they owe me.

There have been a couple of instances where I have promoted programs run through private programs. I've never had a problem not being paid.
