frankcow Banned - Needs Help

Hey all,

I just got an IM from Justin (frankcow). He informs me he was banned and he has not received an email for him to reply to admin.

He asked me to open this thread to ask the mods or admin so he can find out why he was banned. He was sitting on 3 infractions until this happened. Apparently.

Here's the message direct from him:

Dear Admins/Mods,

I was quite shocked to discover today that I've been banned. I haven't been banned since I was a youngling in the forum and didn't know the rules . Since then, I've made a real effort to be a helpful member, and have established a very good reputation. In fact, I've received a number of green reps from mods thanking me for reporting spam!

I wish to apologize for whatever it was that incurred the ban - I didn't receive an infraction beforehand as a warning, so I'm not entirely sure what it was. I have a feeling it was the responses to the WTB threads, and if that's the case I'll be more discreet in the future.

I know frankcow too. He is very nice guy and a close friend of mine. I will be talking to Mods on this. Frank don't worry a temprary ban will not tarnish your rep here.

I do not know frankcow personally, but I do think much more detailed reasons should be provided for banning. This has happened to a few friends of mine so far.

 

Ah .. this is very weird, Frankcow is very nice guy.. Wonder why they banned him all the sudden. Probably a mistake or something? Hope he returns to DP soon. How can a guy with 3 infractions get banned without a warning?

 

It may have just been a mistake. I'm quite surprised myself.

It happens.. Whoever banned him, obviously had a reason... I'd take it up with the mod directly.

 

He's a cool guy indeed, i wonder what's the explanation of this.
Too much politics and religion maybe?

I know I just noticed! I just finished a transaction with him, he left me an itrader, I click on his username to leave an itrader, and then refreshed the page again, and it said then I saw he got banned right in front of my eyes!

EDIT: His last post was actually in my own thread.

 

No mistake...he has been banned and should know exactly why.

He'll be back in a few weeks.
