Wow, you hire a guy who has a wordpress website? If he has scammed you, Try to open a paypal dispute and don't cancel the dispute unless PayPal recovers the money for you. I read an incident where a scammer asks the buyer to close the dispute so the money could be refunded. Once the dispute was closed, the seller was found boozing in some pub with the scammed money. As the dispute was closed by the buyer, PayPal decided to stay mum. Best of luck!
