France servers copyright question

    Hello, i want buy a dedicated server in FRANCE and i have a mp3 search engine i dont host any mp3 file, but i want know in FRANCE the DMCA can do something, i know in netherland they can´t but i dont if in france is the same. and i dont know if OVH have some problem with a MP3 search engine.

    no idea, but if there is a complaint ovh will send you a notice: they won't shut you down, or at least not immediately.

    Hey,

    I have a mp3 search script too from x10media. I am pretty sure they can not do anything because you do not host the mp3 file. Just place a disclaimer and write that you do not host the files therefore they should take their DMCA's to the sites that are hosting it.
