Well the real question is why someone bothered stripping the sound out of the video. If the sound was stripped out... Well it could have been a video with a new reporter talking about Rumsfeld being there for peace talks, or any number of reasons. Peace talks seem to be working relatively well in North Korea.
Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me Let me try to read their lips. Rumsfeld: Hey Saddam, my brother, how's the stock pile of the "agent" *winks* holding up. Saddam: To tell the truth I'm running a bit low. Rumsfeld: Don't worry, I got your back. Maybe that's why the sound was stripped out
Mate, better to give up with d16man and GTech with WMDs as they still insist that there were WMDs even though pretty much everyone else in the world now knows that there were no WMDs. I'm amazed they keep on insisting that there were even after their hero Dubya amongst many others, including the insane hawk lunatic Donald Rumsfeld admitted that there were none. Standby for GTech posting a link to his post quoting loads of people saying that there were WMDs too. It is so mendacious but he clings onto it, and it must be the most linked to thread here on DP.
In what way? I took a look at the evidence you presented, and found it as empty a picture as a military report with a huge portion of it blacked out for classified reasons. Yes. He was there. Okay... that proves... what exactly?
They said they invaded Iraq because Saddam had wepons of mass destruction. For one thing, back when he was known to have them, the US had no problem with him. That's one point. The other is that even George Bush has admitted there were no weapons on mass destruction.
