Funny, here in the states some think we should be more like the EU. I really do not want us to.

I just came back from Strasbourg yesterday and the place was not ablaze . There are strong protest (students) but violent incidents are rare . Besides the French have the habit of protesting for anything . What I did notices is that a large number of the protests leaders are from the same groups that incited to the violent riots several years ago .

EDIT : Vitaly in the future try to keep it a bit more civil . Your title is quite offensive for a Frenchmen and for a pro-EU supporter . There's plenty of mud to trow around let's refrain from doing that .

2006 was a wake up call and a shitty time for France about 800 Neo-Nazi groups sprung up after that event . Basically the French police was never issued shoot to kill even thou they where fired live ammo at . Anyway grab a croissant and enjoy the show .
