France and YouTube

    I heard France is passing a law to ban filming amateur video footage (like controversial stuff like riots).

    I wonder if they'll track down people who upload amateur video to YouTube?

    yes they can track the uploader, by the way, governments dont want to let people share the reality, like ban on youtube in turkey is also imposed

    It’s sad but unfortunately freedom of speech is going down the drain. The worst part is that no one is doing anything to stop it.

    Its sad, and seems very extreme that governments themselves are limiting what people see, and what people show.. even if its nothing bad.

    I don't think they can stop it. Sites like liveleak.com will be the future. That is patently ridiculous to try to ban amateur video. whoever tries to impose that law should be punished, badly.
