Whats the best way to do this? I need to make sure that it will get the HTTP_REFERER parameter since I will put the page up on one domain and park my other domains on top of it.
I think I figured it out. RegisterFly just gives you a link to forward your domains to. I wanted to set it up so that I only needed one hosting account for all my parked domains and just parked them all on one. I tested and it seems to work so far from what I can tell.
I think it's called domain cloaking or something. Meaning the URL stays the same because of the top_frame (eg web.gooddomainnames.com), but the middle_frame is the content from someplace else eg: web.blahlah.com/blah/html/php
But in this case he is not cloaking it is simply a term being applied. Cloaking in the search engine sense means showing one page to the search spiders for use in ranking, and another to the normal visitor. Cloaking is achieved by metarefresh by the really bad ones at it, javascript by the slightly more educated but still as useless, useragent byt the next step up or IP by the decent spammers. (decent at spamming that is not decent as in I agree with doing it). In this case they are just using the word cloaking in its true meaning, which is to hide, but the search engines are seeing the same as everyone else, so nothing wrong there..
I think the search engine will index the actual page ie: the contents in the middle_frame. Meaning to say, when people see the search results from the search engine, they will see web.complicated-url-dotcom/~name/stuff.htm instead of web.nicename-dotcom
