Could someone help me please? I need some code to exclude ads from showing inside a framed page. I'm not good with php but i tried to get this to work with no luck. Initially the framed pages were not meant to be viewed outside of the frame page but for my site to validate ads had to be on these pages. Not much of an issue yet since I dont get much traffic but if or when I get out of the sandbox it may be an issue. I'm looking for something along the lines of if frame=0 (skip ad network code) else (show ad network code) Co-op adds are included in a footer with ssi. I am sure there is a simple solution here but like I said I just started learning php.
Right but I am looking for code that will exclude the ads only when the page is shown outside the framed page. Framed page will still have ads because it includes the same footer.
If google ever indexes the page though, then you run the risk of not validating because it technically wont' be on the page.
O.K. I guess there is some confusion here. All the pages are indexed by google, that is why I had to put the ads on all the pages but I want some code that will allow the ads to show only when the pages are viewed individually. When the pages are loaded into the frame the page with the frame has ads on it but the framed pages are also showing the ads. Look at the page and you will see what I mean http://www.dvdwebzone.com/main/dvdrentaltool.shtml
We understand the concept. Might want to try a design that doesn't use frames, will help the useability of the site...
Yes I suppose the design should be changed. Guess I could use mysql and php to get the same effect. Still would like to know a way to do this though with the original design.
