    Hello,

I have read somewhere that when you use frames in your HTML page in order to hide in you address bar the afiliate link, you may encounter problem and as a results not be registered for the sales.

Can somebody clear this up? Do you recommend NOT to use frames for that purpose? If so, what is the best solution?

    Thanks.

When you open your affiliate link in a frame, the cookie becomes a
third party cookie. IE blocks third party cookies that do not have a
compact privacy policy. If the site has a compact privacy policy, then
    you should be ok.

I guess you mean the affiliate site. But how can I know if the compact policy is OK?

Just as an example, you can try this yourself also, I have tried opening a Clickbank affiliate hoplink in an
iframe, and the cookie was created. Clickbank has a compact privacy policy so there was no problem. I
tried opening a Paydotcom affiliate link in an iframe, and the cookie was not created, so i am assuming that
Paydotcom does not have a compact privacy policy. It is probably best not to open affiliate links in a frame
unless you know for sure that they have a compact privacy policy.
