That pic on Wikipedia makes my head spin. I think I'm going to be really sick... I'm giving you -ve rep for attempted murder.... j/k No, seriously, I can't make bull out of all this... I thought time was the fourth dimension until now; guess I was terribly wrong. Oh no wait, maybe I wasn't. That small mistake of mine can be reverted by simply time warping through a distorted quasar and eating race cars backwards while the pizza holds the flowers in place, can't it? Now I know what it feels like to be high and confused at the same time. I like powdered calculators.
Time is the fourth dimension usually. So they have to be clear and say fourth spatial dimension. When they talk about 11 demensions, I used to think as you said, time was one, and I thought the others were attributes like temperature (like degress of freedom), but I they seem to mean spatial dimensions. I could understand texture too, but I don't see how that's a dimension. I don't understand how you can really have a fourth spatial dimension. I don't know if it just a mathmatical excercise or what
It depends on how you define time and in relation to what. Human beings can only view up to 3 dimensions. More than that are usually meant for mathematical calculations rather than for visual.
