Article submission is the best way to promote a site these days. There are four things that all articles must have.

1.Keywords – An article should be centered on certain keywords or key phrases. Suppose you own a site related to auto parts. So you need to write your articles based on the keywords for automobile parts. This will give you a firm chance to drag quality visitors that are searching for automobile related information online.

2.Keyword Density – keyword density is the number of times a key phrase used in your article. Usually ten to fifteen is a good practice. It’s the keyword
which will ensure your ranking in the search engine result pages. So be careful with it. Don’t try to riddle an article with keywords.

3.Good Article Content – The content you are developing should be unique. Duplicate content is a matter of concern these days for all the major search engines. Even if Google has penalized some of the sites for their duplicate content in the recent past. If you really want people to trust you then make your work good and well thought out.

4.Linking Articles – This is the most important thing to remember. Don’t ever forget to include a link to your site. Experts believe and it’s a good practice to create a hyper link with the keyword for your site. This will drag the attention of a visitor and can bring traffic as well as money for you.

Just want to add that most article sites do not allow hyperlink text within the article body content. You are only allowed to place 1 or 2 links in the Author segment.

Please note that press release is different from article sites as it does permit hyperlink text within content. But with some $$$ for each link.

Good tips, I would call it the four essentials .. sometimes you can lose sight of #2 and 3 ... where do you distribute your articles?

 

Great read. Although I would be careful of inserting large amounts of Keywords. Apparently Google doesnt like keyword drenched articles. You said 10 - 15. I usually lean more towards 5 to 10. If anything one can go back and reinsert keywords with more popular keywords to see what kind of results you get.
