Description:
These are four popular web directories. First of all, there is Dir4You. This is the most popular of the four directories. It has a nice 12,000+ links in the directory, and it gets around 100 - 200 link submissions per day. It does pretty well in Adsense too, it gets a few clicks a day. Gets a few paying links too, but if you buy this, you could easily turn it into a paid directory and get a lot of money from that.

Secondly, there is GeneralDir. This is the second most popular of the directories. This directory has around 8,000+ links in the database and gets the same as Dir4You - around 100 - 200 link submissions a day. Adsense isn't that good but it could easily be optimized. Also gets a few paying links and could be changed to a paying directory if you would want to.

Thirdly, there is SiteDir. This directory is fairly new because its only 2 - 3 months old, but it is doing very successful. In these 2 - 3 months, it has already gathered 7,000 links in the database and gets 100 - 200 submissions a day. Has started to get some paying links, but doesn't have many because its new. It should start to get more though now the directory is pretty popular, and could also be changed to a paying directory. Adsense isn't that good but could be optimized.

Finally, there is BidDir. This is a bidding directory which has started to kick off during the last few weeks. It has had 25 bid links submitted in total, mostly consisting of $1 payments, but there are a few $4 payments too. This could do with a bit more advertising, but definately has potential. This directory doesn't have adsense on, so the stats would be unknown.

Dir4You currently doesn't have any PageRank but probably will in the next update. GeneralDir has a PageRank of 2, SiteDir has 0 and BidDir has 0. I have done a lot of backlink work recently so there is no doubt in my mind that they will all get PageRank in the next update.

If I don't get the minimum bid I'd like, then I won't sell. I'm not really desperate to sell, the only reason I'm selling is because I don't really have the the time to concentrate on them, and I know there are a lot of people out there who could do a better job than I can.

Between them all, Februarys earnings (based on the featured links and ad revenue) was $65, but that was a bad month and March has been so much more successful. Infact, we've had over $100 in revenue from them so far in Match, and there is still a long while left.

Yeah, its free licensed.

You might think its a high starting price, but people normally put selling prices at 10 months of their earnings, correct? Well in this case, that means that since the average earnings is around $75 - $80, then it should by a buyout at $750 - $800, which is why I put the starting bid at $500.

These directories definately have lots of potential. I'm only selling them because I don't have much free time, if they don't sell, I'd be glad to keep on running them.

They are very successful, and with a little bit more advertising and work, they could definately be a big money-maker.
