This chicks post has some good tips for manipulating the html code in your blogger template. http://kumikosuzuki.blogspot.com/2007/01/hacking-blogger-beta-building-three_23.html It contains the easiest way I have found so far to remove the nav bar. Also has a good way to insert and image header. But the best part is the easy three step process for adding a third column. Great stuff!
can't removing the nav bar get you banned from blogger when you are freely hosted? otherwise its a nice simple 3 column layout she has going there
I have seen that debated before. Most of the time we come to the conclusion that since it doesn't actually say you cant then there is no problem. Particularly when the only reason I wanted to get rid of it was so that I could get more google adsense above the fold which makes google (the owners of blogger) more money anyways!
