Found profitable CJ eBay site forsale=$225 1st month! How easy to transfer owners?

Came across this website forsale:

Im hoping to cashin on the Hot popular Presidential political campaign market by buying an already existing website. The seller has reported Commission Junction revenue profit for first month = $225

My question is how would i be able to transfer the Commission Junction Ebay program into my name after sale?
What would be involved?
Can i expect to receive the same amount of profits once i change it into my name, Or should i expect a decrease in profits?

since the seller claims all traffic is 100% organic, the revenue should remain fairly stable. to transfer, it should be as simple as changing the ebay pid to your own.

 

just be careful. read the posting closely.

 

You would first have to sign up for a CJ account, then apply for the eBay affiliate program. Once you're accepted, you could just replace the links with your own.

 

1. ask to see screen shots of proof of revenue, this is normal when buying a site with claims like that.

2. ask to see screen shots of traffic

3. check that no script on the site is copyright and he has the right to resell

4 he is claiming inbound links, you can check that by going to wholinkstome.com

if all that checks ok you just need to change the cj pid as mentioned above, that part is easy. also look at what other people are asking on the thread, a lot more knowledgeable people out there than you or I. good luck

 

from reading other Post in the CJ forum. I have read alot of people are not accepted by all merchants. Is there a chance this could happen to me. There by not be able to make the same amount of profits as the old owner?

 

log into cj and apply to join ebay today. it takes two minutes and then you will know. its really quite easy. Do it now!!

And realize also that the duration of the site is limited. In a year, you will be making less money.

 

How would a politcal based site earn revenues???

Remember in life....the guy selling fish does not scream

"Disgusting smelly fish for sale!"

but rather

"Great tasting fish for sale"

You know it smells bad but the guy selling it won't say it does.....he is going to try to changer the perception to something pleasant.

Not understanding? Are you relating to the Domain Name only expiring after 1year. If thats what you mean, Dont you just renew yearly and can keep the website exactly the same?

 

Miswrote: You can renew a domain name for any length of time you choose.

 

I think he was referring to the fact that the presidential niche will be over 1 year from now.
