I was just doing some research and I found a keyword with 6,608 daily searches that also only has 6 websites with that term targeted. However, the phrase to broad match is 0%. which keyword are your talking about ? if this keyword phrase comes in other hot and related keyword phrases which have good amount of broad and phrase searches then you can go after it. But still I am not pretty sure without knowing the keyword.
