    Guys,
Now are the days of niche site making..So, after I found my micro niche, what is the next step, and how to go about it?
Write artilcles and then do the SEO?
    Or something else?
    Thanks for helping.

Content, content, content, then press release, submit to directories and use social sites like Netscape, Digg.

Personally I find Netscape to be the best social site even though Digg is the most popular.

Well creating content and SEO shouldn't be seen as two seperate things. You should be doing SEO in your articles (while writing them). Things such as headings, keyword density etc.

I normally do things in this order.
    • Have you already registered a domain? If not that would be your best bet. Register a good domain name for your niche.
    • Start writing content articles (20 -30 should be a good start.).
    • Finalize the design of your site.
    • Get hosting.
    • Upload your finished site.
    • Start promoting your site (press releases, directory submissions etc).

    Hope that helps!

Make sure the design of your sites accomodates furture site expansion and easy maintenance.

Condentrate on quality content. get a good amount of content before you begin further off page SEO.

If you are not interesting in writing articles about that niche, my advice is that you forget about it. The process is simple - create some articles, register domain and get links.

I'd recommend getting a few articles ready, perhaps in .doc format.
After that, maybe open a WordPress blog, and work on your SEO a bit.
Then, post the articles to the blog a few days apart, so the search engines can index them in an orderly fashion.

Talking about seo then why would you advise using a new domain? One of the most important things is to buy an old domain in your niche otherwise your not going to rank for a long time in google atleast.

Hey crusader, thanks for all your help. Would you recommend a static site with all the 25 articles from the beginning, or should I start a blog, and then post 1 article in 2-3 days, and continue till 25 articles. Which would be better from SEO point of view?

Well personally I think Blogs are a bit more difficult to promote (that being said I know that Blog software can be used to run normal sites and that the difference between the two is minimal, but still...)

I'd definitely go for the site with 25 static pages already in place. That will give visitors a good idea of what the site is about and what it has on offer. They will also be more likely to come back to read more articles. With a "blog" chances are that people won't remember coming back to read new articles, unless of course the blog is of stunning quality and you get very popular.

First step, tell me what niche. :)

As to the blog, you don't have to do a traditional blog and you can promote it like any other site. Word Press is a great system once you know how to customize everything. You could make a site using it that doesn't look or feel like a blog at all.

I've build sites starting with just a few pages, but the 20-25 range is a nice launch--if that's 20-25 solid pages.

Use wordpress, fill it with good an quality posts, add some linktrades. Add a sitemap plugin, and submit it to google. That will get you rolling.

just about the blog idea I would tell you not to go that way with blog software ect. i believe it to be limited to ad placement.

you could always grab a free template and develope the site manually with just a little bit of html knowledge and dreamweaver.

about hosting you can get great hosting at http://www.npserve.com you can get plans from 30c a month.
