The snapshot of backlinks usually occurs 2 or 3 weeks prior to the export to the toobar so these probably won't count for this one.
I'v posted a few links, some of my sites have no PR, what effect would this have on my sites if say 3 or 4 PR5 links were pointing back at my site? Thats if the accounts don't get deleted and nothing went wrong...
This is soooo true. PR may help with PR juice but sometimes a lower PR site may get much more traffic!
Great site. Thanks a lot for sharing. The only problem is that they aren't related to my content. It will be a great addition for guys that own financial sites!
Agreed. I just tried the same thing but its getting at least a few a day now. Well, hopefully they will hang around like you said.
Nothing bad ever comes from trying to do good In fairness to your post, some webmasters do delete blog comments that simply look spammy, regardless of the number of already existing feedbacks it has. Spammy comments such as "great site" , "I love your site" etc. Any bot can do this ( or human wanting to act like a bot, out of pure laziness maybe? or simply wanting to receive, with no desire to give back something in return). So how do we give back something of value? Try leaving comments in relation to the site's theme that you think can be a useful info to the ones reading it....
By itself, probably not much. When you're trying to build backlinks though, all these adds up in the calculation of PR. As for me, I'll go for it. My guru "Joel Comm" says if its anything that isn't at least PR4 or more, don't bother
That's a another great myth you have there I don't want to be accused of hijacking this post by posting an article to prove it but with the thread starter's permission, I will do so for everyone to read. Otherwise, you can pm me if you like.
