My employer currently has 27 domain names at GoDaddy pointing to another provider(I'll call it X) to our current website(which is hosted on X). He's in a ten year contract with X for home page. We are forwarding these 27 domains to X. Should the nameserver entries all be the same as the one in X? None of the 27 domains has an web pages, only forwards to X. Does this configuration raise issues with search engines?
Godaddy offers full DNS control so I don't see the point of forwarding the domain name instead of setting up namewservers. Forwarding is made via frames and that for sure is impacting for bad those websites of your client.
