Okay, so my url http://www.FreeLipBalm.com forwards to an affiliate link, which then takes you to qualityhealth.com . For some reason this process takes a really long time to load (I ran a check on it on www.websiteoptimization.com). Three days ago I changed my server over to zoneedit.com to see if that would speed things up...but I've seen no changes yet. A friend of mine had one of his urls forward to the same affiliate link and it loaded super quickly...why is mine taking so long to load???!!! Help!
No, it loads quickly on my computer, but on 56k I think it takes something like 36 seconds according to www.websiteoptimization.com .
No wonder. Total Size: 183221 bytes Too much image data slowing down the page load. It will take 36s for that much data on 56k. Averaging 5kb/sec for 56k connection comes out to 36 seconds.
