    Hi guys,

Is it fine to make url forward of a domain name that gets type in traffic directly to a CJ advertiser using the url from one of the advertiser's text links?

I think this depends on the advertiser. I would rather ask CJ or the advertiser.

For example, let's say I have a domain name abcd.com that gets some natural type in traffic.
Also let's say I take one of the ebay's text ads but instead of placing it on a site of mine I just take the url from it and forward the type in traffic from abcd.com to that url. Thus, the text ad is never shown in practice but still there is traffic that goes through that affiliate url and finally arrives to the eBay site.
Is there something illegal in this?

so when someone try's to go to your site they never get there, they are redirected to your affiliate ebay link instead and your cookie is dropped on their pc.

interesting idea. i am sorry i do not know, sounds like it should'nt be allowed, but I cannot say. anyone??
