Since one month, I'm running an Adwords campaign to promote my animal shelters site named mysite.xx . I recently was so lucky to buy the highly relevant domain name animalshelters.xx. The CTR is very high and it really boosted traffic... until this morning was suspended for "invalid visible url" reasons. I could not find a line in the TOS that forbids URL forwarding (which is different from automatic redirects as far as I know, but correct me if I'm wrong). Does this mean that a good generic domain name cannot be used in Adwords when a site is named differently? Any help is appreciated! I will keep you posted on Google's answer.
From a users experience how would it be any different? In any event your best bet may just be to update your ads with the new url.
