Hello :p. I can't work out why despite the fact we have plenty of members signing up hardly any do post, I mean the topics are topics we cover on our websites and we have a few active posters (Posters that follow everything I do :p). Anyhow any tips on why the forum is not getting that many posters would be nice.

*shameless plug* Oh feel free to sign up yourself *shameless plug*

You might consider merging some of those forums and then expand them when there's enough postings to go around. All those empty forums chase people who visit away for some reason. I guess it's the mentality of, "Well, if no one's posting, then it might not be worth posting", etc.

ohh and also I like your forum and also feel your pain with the non posters. I have a forum with over 200k users but only like 20k posts ... wtf?

if they didnt like to click on ads so much I would can it probably =)

When I visited your forum, I got a story in my mind... let's hope any language barrier does not kick in here :D

So, when you're walking in a city looking for a place, a restaurant for example, where to hang around and have some good time... you walk around and see two reastaurants; a tiny one with some clear topic known also by yourself, and friendly mind liked people having good time there, actually giving you a warm welcome... the other restaurant on the next door is a huge one with no clear focus, numerous empty tables, overdressed bored waiters, not sure about the music etc. What's your choise? Internet is a sort of city with a lot of restaurants for people to choose from.

My message is... keep it small in the beginning, stay focused, and maybe the most important... why not simply ask your members for help and ideas? - you're building a community... you need the community... take the active posters and talk with them, ask their apinion, ask for their help. I personally know it works, they're more than willing to help you to build a community for themselves :)

After some fine tuning and hard work your forum will be just great!

By the way, your links from the main page need some work (404 error)

Have you thought about paying some one to post, just to get the forums pumped up with fresh posts?

I think it just takes time. BTW, a comment on your logo. The main text is a bit dark. Maybe you like it this way, so it could just be me, but it can really use some more brightness, I think.

Make the forum description text darker.

Move the site news/information block to the bottom.

My first impression is it's a general chat site. Worse, the first forum I see is for "Mature" converstaions. What is this site supposed to be about? Mature and then computer in the same block will be fatal IMO. In fact, I'd lose that mature forum completely!

Make your posts conducive to converstaion. Don't make statements, comment and leave the end open for others to add to the conversation.
