Forums that make money?

Hello all,

I am currently a holder of a valid vBulletin license but I can't think of a forum to run, so I am looking for ideas.

I want to run a forum that can earn money and that I sell for $200+ in the future.

Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah, definitely something you know quite a bit about. And I would steer clear of Internet Marketing, because this field has to many competitors.

 

Always go with what you know. I could never write a blog on shoes seeing as I wear beaten up Reeboks, but Ebay or aff marketing..... Im all for it.

Well, look my steps,

I will make webmaster site + forum on www.webmaster-point.com and get good traffic, big database and if I can get some PR and sold that forum in 3-4 months for 300+$ because I have some friends which gonna help me.

You can earn more than that
I used to earn $1k/week from my HYIP forum

 

Okay, how did you earn the money?

 

Base a forum on an idea then monetize, don't start a forum based only on your profit, it'll fail

 

Gaming.. if you have interest in games..

 

I swear I had to look up what "Naruto" was, never heard that word before

 

Make a forum that you know alot about.
Also use a decent skin, logo and make sure all of your users are active and making good posts, with this and some really good traffic you should sell it for well over $200.
With some ads you will probally be making $200 in months.
