Forums that Google likes

I see a good number of back links from the DP forum. What other good webmaster or web developer forums are good forums and do well with back links?

I assume its every forum that gets indexed well and allows you to have a signature.

 

That plus it should be a good forum to participate in. Any suggestions beyond DP, SitePoint, WMW?

What about GrownUpGeek.com forums? Do you allow sig links that get picked up by Google?

 

http://www.mynextcollege.com allows backlinks and are not no-follow.

cnet.com forums may be a good place. I don't know about the listing and rankings for url's to search engines but, I have had many buying customers come through my signature line links.

 

That's a horrible site! They don't have my two alma maters GMI (aka Kettering University) or UCI listed!

 

i'm not sure sitepoint allows search engines to see the signature links.

Yes, they get picked up by Google (not using NOFOLLOW) - but signature links, and even links in posts are not permitted. The mods there are like hawks (they get paid well) - plus it's got a very good anti-spam system
