Can a forum make a decent amount of money from Adsense? If not are there any good recommendations for forums to make some money?

If you have a lot of traffic and a good ad placement, yes forums can earn you money decently.

Personally I would:
- not show ads for registered users
- optimize my ad placement, including inside post ads.

Yes you can. But you may have more chance to get invalid clicks with a forum because regular users click your ads and they are clicking ads from the same IP address. Therefore suggest to display ads only for unregistered/new people.

 

Forums can make some decent amount of income from ad sense but it will depend on a lot of things such as traffic, niche and location of the ads.

One of the ways forums make good money is through ads. Infact, i wouldn't recommend putting ad sense on a high traffic forum because you will be losing money pretty fast and getting paid in clicks when you can charge lots of $$$ per day and so on.

Certainly forums can earn a decent amount if there are enough members/visitors. Offering advertising space is another way forums earn money.

 

Make some nice upgraded member ranks like VIP or something, that usually gets some cash flow.
