I run a forum and was thinking of adding AdSense to it but have a few questions. Placement is not really a concern, I've read articles on that so I know the hot spots... What I would like to know is, is it within the guidelines to have the ad's GUEST ONLY? I currently do not want to spam my registered members with an ad... If it is OK to have my AdSense guest only, then is it OK to actually say it's guest only (to get more members to register?) I see this different then saying "click here" but I guess it's counter productive for Google and the advertisers, so I thought I'd make sure it's OK before I get myself banned or something Something like:
Absolutely. I see it used on a lot of major forums such as NP, and I think even DP uses that feature. But..... after you add it in, I really don't see any harm in e-mailing the Adsense team just to make sure everything is OK. Good luck with your Adsense and hope you make some ca$h!
