Forum with 8800+members, $600 adsense in past 2 months

The game "earthland realms" is featured in a simpsons episode marge gamer & so it gets a lot of type in traffic from simpsons viewers.

The site has a LOT of potential if you were to develop a game as seen in the episode.

8827 genuine members (no paid posters etc) at the time of making this post. That's a great list of emails for promoting simpsons related stuff, like say DVDs of the newly released simpsons movie. The site could make a lot of money via affiliate programs promoting simpsons dvds & other merch, it certainly has a lot of potential.

I am looking for a quick sale.

That's less than 12x revenue, and forums usually sell for much more taking into account growth, and as I highlighted above this site has a LOT of potential in the hands of the right owner.

Reason for sale: Busy w/ other stuff, am not the best owner for such a site, could use the cash.

Payment PREFERRED by bank transfer to Indian bank account. Escrow.com is acceptable as well. E-gold is welcome.

Paypal is not preferred for this transaction, and will be accepted only from established members based on your itrader rating, and please be prepared to pay extra $250 to cover paypal & other withdrawal fees. The domain will be transferred only after 2 weeks of receiving payment (only if paid via paypal. any other payment method the push will be instant) to prevent chargebacks.

Domain is at godaddy. It's currently hosted on my dedicated server, and I can continue to host it for $15/month. The cms used for the site is e107.

The PR update is coming soon and this is likely to get some PR, like I said this has taken off very well with hardly any promotion, in the first 2 months, all with type-in traffic. Once it gets PR, you can easily add a few hundred dollars/year at least to the income even if you sell only 4-5 links.

How old is the site ?

 

A little more than 2 months (the site went live a few days after the episode aired on TV if I remember correctly). It was registered & kept online with an "under construction" message for 2-3 weeks after it was registered.

It's taken off very well.
