That's my own addition. About an hour ago. Yep... they also have a plug-in you can install to patch it if you don't want to upgrade the whole forum. My upgrades usually take 20 seconds (or less). This one didn't go quite as smoothly because I needed to restart Apache in the process and when it started, it would not respond to any requests for whatever reason. So I ended up rebooting the web server real quick (so it was a 60 second upgrade, sorry...)
doesn't look like you have to revert any templates, which method did you do? i just have a lot of plugins installed...last time i just reinstalled them, but is it ok to just disable them, upgrade, then enable them?
I did the "full" upgrade. The DIFF template system in 3.5.x makes it so you never have to revert templates, just edit the ones you've changed (if there are any changes). For me, it ended up being 3 minor templates changes (ones that were changed that I previously edited). I never disable/uninstall plug-ins on an upgrade. Kind of looses the whole point OF plug-ins if you do that, doesn't it?
Thanks for the thread yfs1. I think that's the fastest I've ever upgraded something. Wait a second. 60 seconds to reboot a Mac? I gotta get me one of them.
