Anyone know of a good small forum script that I can just place a display code in my content box?

stay away from frames it sucks and make your site look unprof. What I do is just to make the header and footer match the frontpage/mainpage then it looks like its seamless.

"Sucks".. What really sucks is thinking that way. If you were a professional you'd understand the advantages of not keeping everything inside the same site to ensure higher SERP positioning instead of just saying "it sucks" because you don't see any advantage for your particular case.

Try thinking outside of the box and when you get a few more years of age and experience you'll know exactly what I mean.

in this case iframes is a bad solution like the frames on your own site. You can't get the url, you will have a problem to bookmark specific areas of your forum. I have years enough with experience in building websites and I have never experienced a situation where iframes is a solution

Also Googlebot etc cannot search properly within frames so your SEO would be rendered relatively useless

Then there is the accessibily factor where theoretically (and possibly realistically) you could get sued by visually impaired (or blind) users on the grounds of discrimination due to accessibilty issues in reagrds to audio browsers. Don't think this can't happen I have heard of actual cases being taken to Court and won >

Yes, perhaps you need to get some more experience in that case.

Yes, you need more experience indeed. Go to http://ninjapendisk.com/support/ and see any link inside. Then tell me if you don't see links to "specific areas".

Yes, it can. Google doesn't index so well with dynamic content provided by RSS feeds, ajax or javascript content but iframes are as old as the www Internet itself. It will allow to associate a site with another site that is providing strong references to it. So, you're building in parallel a strong association with a site that will have higher PageRank than new sites and completely filled with dofollow links to the brand new blog or site.
