Hey guys i don tknow if anyone would know this or not, but when you post a topic, google indexes it, but how does it take how important it is? for how high of a ranking it achieves?

Is it the more replies you get the better ranking that post will get?

    see what im saying?

It has a lot to do with the words in the "subject" which is often what's in the title tag of the post page. I built a forum and Goolge seems to pay a whole lot attention to the title tag of the posts.

Google likes fresh contents. So, if the thread is active, updated constantly, Google thinks it's more relevant. That is my experience so far.
