I am looking for any forum software that has the same feature as vbulletin. I am talking about setting up rss feeds for a specific forum and import the feeds.

SMF does it, if you get the RSS FEED Poster. But I would suggest vB.

No, why would I be? It is the most advanced forum script, has the exact feature you are looking for and is only $100 for a license.

VBulletin's is awesome - seriously I just converted from SMF.

If you mean, is SMF is mod, then no, however SMF (Simple Machines Forum) has a modification called RSS Feed Poster, which does the same job- however with my usage I think it was slightly buggy and not as smooth as vBulletin's.

Oh, it didn't say that and I sometimes miss the blindingly obvious.

Well SMF is the only one I know that can do it, but only with a mod. However, it couldn't be that hard to make one yourself, or expensive to hire someone to do it.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you converting from SMF to VB?

If this is going is going too much off topic, then just ignore me and I'll remove the post ...

as far as i know IPB (Invision Power Board) is also capable of doing rss feeds, but you will have to install an addon for this (not quite sure)

Mybb does this and it's a single file plugin to upload.

You can see an example at one of my sites:

    http://www.nintendogstalk.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=38

I pull 2 seperate Google feeds into there.

For install you simply upload the plugin file, activate in admincp, add the feeds and what forum you want them in as well as what user to post them as. That's it.

Direct link to mod in case you can't find it:
    http://mods.mybboard.net/view/rss-to-post-v1.1.0

Mybb is about as feature rich as you can get.
