Forum software requirements in 2017 (mobile friendly? social integration?)?

    What are the requirements for forum software to be up to date?

    1. Perfect interface for mobile users?
    2. Social site integrations? What? Besides FB login.

    It's important to be optimized for mobile used. Tons of features and good default theme. :)

    Forum Software can be assessed with its compatibility with the available plugins. Some forum software is more customizable than others. For instance, the social network integration would probably be a plugin or module that can be installed on the software. The mobile-friendly site appearance and whether or not the site is responsive or not for different browser viewings is dependent on the theme, not on the forum software.

    There may be some forum softwares that have mobile apps to manage your site.
