Forum Software Recommendation (punBB, myBB?)

Hello

I need your thoughts on this which one would you pick and why? punBB or myBB? no VBulletin and IPB for now they look great for big forums but It's just a small forum I need to give it a lighter feel to the users.

I narrowed down my choices to this two because they seem lighter to me but feature wise, which is better? specially for SEO?

Hmmm I am using joomla thats why I use fireboard...

 

just tried em both im planning to integrate this with wordpress for now or maybe setup drupal forum instead.

joomla and fireboard is not very seo friendly i think..

let me change that it's fluxBB and it is noticably faster than simplemachines.. some im gearing to this.. and more seo friendly too(im not 100%sure though)...

 

Go for MyBB, it's light, simple, and has all the features of vBulletin for free.

 

Ive used both those, as well as phpbb and many others. I can honestly say that I liked MyBB so much better. It is much simpler, and the script is cleaner. I also found it much easier to create custom templates for it.

 

mybb is better , I think punbb can not have subforums.

but if it's free you need, than I would go with phpbb

"they both suck" won lol... i personally prefer mybb.. it's has great admin panel features... i've was never fond of phpbb

 

phpBB because my experience with them has been satisfactory besides editing the php files to install mods.

 

If I were you, I will choose MyBB. But I personally like to go with phpbb3. Very active community, fast response. great mods & skins etc etc

I've never even heard of punbb plus I'm using mybb for 3 years now, so stick with mybb.
