I can only say backlink is still backlink and it helps on SEO however, cant give measurable value on it
Links are accumulative. You get a link from the forum, a link from an article, a link for a blog post, etc and it all adds up.
Forum signature links don't hold a whole lot of value, though it does make you look a little more intimidating when a newbie goes looking at your backlink count. Also keep in mind that as links from a single domain accumulate, they begin to devalue (if they didn't I would be commenting on every blog with a top commentator plugin).
in my experience backlink from all site is worth as nofollow doesn't provide you PR but it helps to take care of keyword goal in SERP
Forums are not meant to be backlink, uplink, forwardlink, nolink, bslink or anylink building - they are community resource portals in which peers help peers. If you are posting in forums merely for the signature block link then you're wasting your time that would be better spent in other more productive methods of search engine optimization.
No one said forum sigs are worthless. Any do-follow links might help you in SEO. Check the first reply of the thread.
Dofollow forum signature backlinks definitely improve your websites’ SERP rankings, be it a slight improvement or huge improvement.
Over time they are. It really takes quite a high number of them though to get any real movement. I've seen a couple of week rent a signature from someone here at DP (there is a forum for it) and go from #7 to #1 pretty quickly
im always outsourcing backlinkers through fiverr. the links from forum signatures can get u to the top too
Either it's not a popular keyword either you're missing something. It can't effect like that much (I think)
They do work, Angela and Pauls links are based on them, However not all forum signatures are created equal.
Yeah they def. work! I do a lot of it on other forums and it really, really adds up. Perhaps not as important as other backlinking that you could do but it's still backlinking.
