funny people usually accuseing are the ones doing it.. plain and simple he is asking about forum signatures.. whats so hard to understand about that.
Nothing hard to understand. Its clear and transparent. Once people don't get determined something would be helpful, he/she doesn't use that thing. The same way, he has already considered using Forum Signatures by himself, and asking after the use. Which one is funny? That is his 132nd posts. He could have a search for the same at this forum before creating the topic. Creating duplicate topics are really annoying. There is nothing to accuse, I said what is the fact, be it hard to digest or funny for you.
Instead of getting back links you would also get targeted visitors to your sites if you use signature..
You can find this from yourself. If you have a new website which is not listed in Google, then add a signature pointing to the website. Submit few post but do it in DigitalPoint most effective, You will see that within 2 days your linked page is crawled by Google.
Every link which you can make/create easily has its importance , Dont try to do overseo as it will lead to depression . Do what is in your access.
Just noticed using a tool that picks out no-follow links that some people have no-follow signature links (on this forum D.P) with the no-follow attribute, it is not clear to me why some have this and others not, does not seem to matter how many posts or whether pro- members etc, any one care to shed some light ?
Signature links now are not effective fully because most of them are nofollow. Try to play social networks instead.
It depends on the forum. A lot of forums either don't show sig links to unregistered users, or have their sig links nofollow, so you wouldn't get much SEO value from them. That said, if it's a forum related to your topic they're still great for traffic.
I know I have definitely seen traffic from signature links. I don't know that I would pay any forum for them though.
What i have mentioned recently, that links on blogs get indexed almost instantly (post links or blogroll), what i can't say about forum signature links....it takes some time and loads of them don't show up. But...as per previous posts...it is absolutelly free and if you choose forums/threads targeting your niche, it will be much of the value in a long run.
