Is it possible to use two different keywords on a forum signature link for a single domain name. For example. Anchor Text1 = xyz.com Anchor Text2 = xyz.com/forums Anchor text will be used as keywords. Would the anchor text bring 2 sets of link juice as its linking to the same domain ?
Yes it is possible to use two different keywords on a forum signature link for a single domain name I've been doing this for almost 2 years and I've had great results.
Thanks for the reply. Suppose you made 100 post using your current anchor text say : Anchor Text 1 and six month later your change your Anchor text to something else. Will that get rid of all your previous keywords (anchor text of the old post) or will it replace it the new anchor text that you have chosen.
I am pretty sure it will just replace it when the spider notices the change on an individual thread basis.
I've asked this same question in a different forum and was told that - in most forms - it replaces the links in ALL previous posts as and when they are recached. I also have 2 links to the same domain in my signature.
Having a signature with two links to the same site, with different anchor text is a pretty good idea, but why don't you just increase the link length - so, instead of "link 1" | "link 2" you could have "link 1 | link 2", basically put all of the anchor text in one link. Then, you could have another link to a different domain.
Yes, we can use different anchor text pointing to a same domain. Its better not to change then frequently rather keep them different at different forums
