I just moved my forum from a free server onto my domain. It's a phpBB forum, fairly good size about 4000+ posts. Does anybody have any tips on SEO for forums specifically for google. I'm having trouble with google, it's just so darn picky! Anyways any help or tips on what I can do to get my forum indexed would be appreciated. Thanks.

as a user of PHPBB forums i can recommend two mods:
    1) an easy mod: add the archive mod, all you do is add two files to your root and sub-two directories and you're set. you can (press here )

    2) a more complex mod: makes your forum way more SE friendly. you can find instructions and download it here:

Make sure you get rid of the session ID's aswell as block the standard pages via robots.txt, eg search, faq, register, login, etc as these are dupliacate pages on thouands of forums.
