    Can someone tell me what a good free forum script to uses. I have a cooking site that I want to put a forum on. Also one more question if I want to upgrade me forum to vbulletin can I take all the info for the free script and import it to the vbulletin script .

    Yeah.. u can very well use PHPBB.. its an open source forum software and is very easy to customize too..
    you can install it from fantastico if you have cpanel..!!

    MyBB
    PBHBB
    SMF

    All are good and free to use.

    Yes, vBulletin comes with impex. Impext is used to convert phpBB/SMF/MyBB to vBulletin.
