    vbulletin - top of the line commercial grade forum software.

    phpbb - lol, your kidding right? Its junk.

    MYBB - MyBB has been around for awhile, but lacks a lot of modifications that other forums already have.

    SMF - Seasoned veteran, lots of modifications and wide selection of themes.

    vBulletin, all the way. If that's not an option, I personally would choose MyBB.

    BBPress is very nice, but mainly for simple discussion boards and for very simplistic solutions. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

    i really love the way it is..
    its so simple like wordpress and well SEOd.. and has the plugin interface like in WP..

    So i hope it will get more powerful soon!!

    I don't. I like the idea of having a lite alternative for various projects. If BBPress becomes more powerful, then I don't have my favorite lite option anymore.
