Have you ever been across a forum, where Administrator(s) have spent their forum revenue the wrong way. Like not towards the forums/members, just for their own use? Do you think it's okay for an administrator(s) to do that? Whats your views?
If it's their forum, they can do whatever they want with the revenue it generates. I certainly think that some money should always be re-invested into the site for hosting, upgrades etc, but that's their choice.
Where you work at, do you tell your supervisor how to spend their pay check? Do you complain when the supervisor takes his/her family out to eat, pays their house note, or goes shopping? How the forum owner spends their revenue is their business.
Are you just trying to get replies and links to your sites? You can't really be serious with this thread.
Lolololol. Agree.. What type of question is that? And i loved the example of Kev. And i agree with both. Is his money, so means. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. (No offence).
Well it depends, obviously revenue is revenue so the owners are not obligated to re-invest it back into the community but if they really care about it they'll use the cash for contests etc.
Forum revenue is never spent wrongly. If you're the owner you're allowed to spend the money on your own personal use.
Er ... first, it takes a whole LOT OF EFFORT to get a forum to start earning at all. If you worked that hard and your forum started earning, I'm sure the first thing you would do is treat yourself. It's the Admin's personal earning (unless he runs it in a way which requires him to pay others as well) and he has the right to spend it the way he wants.
