    Hi

When I click on forum link in Google it redirects me to a myspace page and says threat detected, this has happened 3 times today?

If you clicked any links in a PM and logged in recently, change your password immediately just in case it's a phishing issue - it's happened a few times to others recently.

Otherwise, you'll have to be more specific about what kinds of links you're clicking and where they're supposed to be going (something a member posted, etc.).

    Hi

No I haven't clicked on any links anywhere in the forum or in PM, what happened was I went to Google and typed in "Digital Point Forums", then from the search results I clicked on the url, that is when I got redirected to the myspace page and got the thread detected.

It seems to be random, it's done it several times today as I mentioned, which resulted in me having to do a full virus scan only to come back again and have the same thing happen :(

But it didn't do it this time so fingers crossed, if it happens again I will make a note of the url it is redirecting me to.

    Thanks

    Dee

This can be happening due to Cookie Stuffing, or malicious ads. Clear your cookies and all cache. And try again. Also change your password as soon as possible. If it still occurs, it can be due to a malicious ad, just block the ad server (the HOSTS file) and it should be fine then.
