Do you have an opinion on how members ought to behave on the forums? I do believe that generally speaking the average DP member is polite,intelligent and well informed.I don't detect any real meaness on here or racism or anything like that but....there are a few exceptions that I can think of without naming names.You know who they are,the negative types.One comes on and insults the "noobs" anyone who is new.Instead of welcoming them he insults them.Then there is this guy from eastern Europe who is crude and vulgar.Then there is "Miss Negative Energy" she is down on everything. Friends let us ignore these 3 as best we can and get along as a big DP family.I think it's great that we do get along so well all in all.Anyway my opinion is this:that we should try and be considerate and polite to each other.What do you think,anything to add to that?
I'm with you Spoiltdiva!! I feel that there are a few in here that go overboard and should give people a break and that everyone should treat others as they would want to be treated. I've found though, if you give it back a little bit to the negative ones, they are apt to back off because they're just bullies and that's what bullies do. Once you give it back they back off, they're insecure. If they know someone will allow them to walk all over them, they will unfortunately. It's really sad. These people need to remember that they were at one time new to the IM thing and asked questions as well, even if they seem stupid to them now, they aren't stupid to the noobie; they wouldn't ask if they knew the answer. Bottom line, "New IMers" ask all the questions you want to know!! Treat others as you want them to treat you!!
@fruzzlies Thanks great comment,well said.The #1 troll sends insults to the newbies on the "introductions".What kind of a welcome is that?Meanwhile I've been here just 17 days and I've welcomed 127 newbies to DP.This loser has only 4 friends on his profile,he's been here for 3 years.With my 17 days I already have 35 friends.See the difference in the mindsets?
He is only one Project Mobius..... @Project mobius i will bet you if you can able to create a new and unique thread in this general chat section ?If you do this continually one week means i will get out from this dp forum.
As to the troll in question,it is a mystery why he has lasted here as long as he has? I would have assumed that he would have gotten banned because of his behavior.
@Project Mobius No need for me to report you Project Misery because it is my firm belief that sooner or later your childish negativaty will eventually get you banned.You've managed to get away with it all this time because no one has bothered to do anything about it........until now that is. Nothing personal Mobius,I just happen to have gotten attached to this site and very much like the people on it.And,don't like the way you pick on the "newbees".You see when you post your insults on the forums you embarrass the newcomers.Some of them disappear and don't return.It is my conviction therefore that you are preventing the site from growing.And Mobius,it is unwanted,unfair,and most of all,unkind.Someone needed to come along and call you out on it.That person is me.[o]
@Kerosene You are the voice of reason,and I cannot debate you on this because you are 100% right.In fact Project Mobius and I have exchanged messages.But while polite we have not resolved anything.So I will "back off" but still feel this thread has merit as I am bringing up an issue.The issue is simply one of being part of the problem or being part of the solution.I am in my own clumsy way Kerosene "trying" to be part of the solution.
