Hi all, What will be the right and easiest possible way for a forum promotion. Like I have a Forum based on India Pakistan Relationship Discussion - http://www.himalayanaffairs.org/forums/web_wiz/forum/default.asp Already having Good PR 4 (I think Its Good To have a PR 4 by Google ). What will I do for increase the members for this forum. Please give me some ethical ideas. Regards,

Well since it's quite a niche forum your best bet will probably be to advertise on related (Indian and Pakistan) websites and maybe post on related forums. Or is your aim to attract international users as well?
When making a forum there are two problems you have to tackle: 1) getting the audience to your site 2) getting the audience to actually sign up and use the forum Unfortunately the forum software you are using right now is going to make #2 very difficult. The reason why is because you need to add custom messages and plug-ins to increase your sign up rates. If you were using vBulletin this would be a lot easier. To get the traffic in the first place, listen to what Lunatic said. Paying a forum posting service to use your board won't help you. You have a very niche audience and unless you get this audience to visit your board it won't grow.
A few of my clients are submitting articles with content related to their forum and then including a link at the end to a thread you have started so that readers can discuss the article further in your forum.
Tough call because you have such a small target audience. All I can suggest is go to http://www.dctorrent.com ...register there and post with a link in your signature.
