Hi, I think that to be able to delete your own posts is something that would be great. As forum posts show up in Google results, it's not ideal when you're having a problem with a site you're working on, okay it may only be the tiniest of problems and is sorted within minutes, but a client could easily type in their domain and see the post and start to think oh their having problems, even if the initail problem was a while ago.

I have only ever had this happen once, it was a sitemap problem, which I managed to sort with 5 mins of posting, but the client phone me up and said have you got the problem with my sitemap sorted, at first I hadn't a clue what they were talking about that's how much af a problem it was ;), but they had seen an old post on here when searching for their domain.

Is there anyway to remove these results once they are showing up on Google, just something that would be good to know for the future.

    Thanks

    Dee

You're able to edit your post within 8 hours. If you don't want your link to show up in google, don't post it or post it in a quote.
