    Hey members,

Stuck with problem again. My question is if I doing Forum posting in xyz site. After that I enable to put signature and I put some signature their. But now when I have another site and I change the signature then in all my previous thread’s signature is also changed. Can somebody tell me why this happening??? Does this means that every time I have new site then I have to register a new account for that particular site.

    Your reply's are appreciated.

    Thanks

All forums operate in that manner as far as I know. You put in your signature and that's what it will show on all your posts in the past and future. If you change your signature it will change what shows on all your old posts as well. Basically your signature displaying on posts is not static, written to the page in stone. It is grabbed dynamically each time a signature is displayed. So I load a page you commented on and it grabs your current signature and displays that to me. If you change it one minute later and I refresh the page, it grabs your signature again and displays the new signature to me. So if you wanted 3 different signatures to point to 3 different domains you would have to open 3 different accounts which is probably against the TOS of the forum in question.

You're better off not using forum links for backlinking, They don't hold a lot of weight for that purpose. Forum links can be great if you provide value on the forum and your signature links to something that benefits the members of that forum. When they see that you know what you're talking about they are more inclined to click your signature links. I don't use forum signature links to backlink to my money sites.
