Ive started doing forum posting recently in order to drive traffic to a site. My posts are not spammy at all. All posts are right on topic with the original topic and always useful information. Not just lol nice post thx. I start threads and provide information relevant to the sites. In none of my posts do I say go to this site or whatever. I contribute and act like a normal member.

The only thing I have is my signature that is a rakeback site for gambling. All forums are ofcourse gambling related. My problem is i keep getting banned from some of these for posting spam.

My signature reads like this. 15% cashback on your losses (my website url here)

Ive been tinkering with the signature a bit as to appear less spammy, but still get banned about once or twice a week. I assure you I have not posted any spam or anything of the like.

I have noticed that alot of forums are riddled with spam posts when I am searching for new forums to post on. So maybe im just getting unlucky and being targeted as a spammer just because of my signature.

My point to this post is that I keep seeing people talk about how forum posting is awesome etc etc. But, how do you get around being banned? Ill copy and paste some of my posts so that you may be the judge. Including my signature. Thx for any feedback

This was one of my first posts when starting this venture and you can see the signature is a bit long. I have since changed it on other sites, but this site has yet to say anything about it. And this is on a gambling site but in the fantasy sports section.
    Mannings draft position?

If manning goes to say, Arizona or Miami, where would draft him in fantasy. Its obvious hes not a first or even a second round pick imo.

It does make an interesting scenario. You can take a chance on him and wait till the later rounds if you feel he will still be there and pick a few position players ahead of him and take a gamble. The upside is pretty big if you can get him in the mid to late rounds. Still need to draft a backup, but you could probably get a schaub, flacco or even cutler as backup.

I personally wouldnt touch him unless i were in a 12 team league and he was there in the late rounds.

If it were a 10 team league I think you can gamble and get him mid rounds and still pick up a competent back up late

I have now gone with just my url on most sites. Now should I be waiting until I have a decent amount of posts before I add in my signature instead of jumping right in? I have a feeling this may work better as I will be seen as a member first and then once Im accepted from my posts my signature will sort of blend in.
