Forum posting w/URL

    If i create my signature with the UBB URL tags, and put my websites address in there for a forum signature, does it get indexed as backlink? Or do search engines ignore anything that doesnt have a <a href> html link? What about just plain text?

    No it will not be indexed as backlink by search engine.

    Yeah. If you mean backlink. backlinks are links - common sense.

    it the url got hyperlink but it the url show as a text it won't get index as back links it should be a live link.

    If it is a hyperlink, then it will consider as backlink. However, if it is just a text, then of course not being considered as backlink.

    The logic is simple here... you got to have a click able link, for people to click and come to your site... to be considered a backlink! :)

    Many forum software use a different syntax for 'input' but they will render the link with 'normal' HTML. DP uses BBCode but all links are still using HTML.

    It works. Just remember, it's better to have 2 quality links than 200 shitty ones.

    They will just be backlinks for your website. Only the pages of your website will get indexed.
