Im not actually in the forum posting business anymore although i just had people post on my forum for $.10 a post via this board and sitepoint and i found mostly all the posts where spam.

 

like spam like how you spam your forum in every post or other spam?

 

It's hard to imagine anyone posting for 20 cents a post, unless they automate it or have loads of extra time on their hands. And it's even harder to imagine getting quality posts for that price.

 

Are you kidding me? There are people who will be more than happy to post for $0.10 per post - Make this offer here at DP and you'll see

I never said that I wanted any paid posters in my forum...All I am saying is that there are people who are more than happy to post for $0.10 per post.

 

Right, and I was referring to the quality (or lack thereof) of their posts. If I was to hire someone it would be a full time moderator and pay him extra to provide me with good content and start some interesting threads.

 

Yes...and I was just wondering why you felt the need to quote me and say "Be careful what you wish for."

I never said anything about the quality of paid posts or wanting them in my forum

 

I thought you actually recommended those guys.

 

I wouldn't use them personally, just because it's not how I believe forums should grow...BUT, I do recognize that if you implement paid posters correctly, they can really help to launch a good forum.

You gotta be careful though, because it is much easier to go wrong than it is to go right
